I am very proud to say that the company, (IBC Limited), that my father founded has just celebrated its 40th anniversary on February 6th, 2016. A very significant milestone and achievement for a small business and one my father would have been very proud of, had he lived to see it.
My Dad’s belief was always to strive to be the ‘best’ and with that aim in mind he looked to surround himself with the best people. Many good people have walked in and out the doors of IBC over that period and I thank every single one of them for their contribution to our history.
His other key business ethos was that the ‘Customer is always the most important person in this business’ and he was right as no business survives without its customers. We have had the pleasure of serving thousands of construction companies through the years and I am glad to say many of them are still our loyal customers. We thank them for their contribution to our success.
To our suppliers who have stuck with us through good and bad goes our gratitude. A measure of a business relationship is how people treat you in difficult times and the loyalty shown to IBC by its suppliers throughout the recent difficult economic climate is a testament to the strength of those relationships and the philosophies of our Supply Partners.
While the IBC name is no longer ‘front and centre’, it will always represent our history and a proud tradition in how we conduct our business relationships. Under our new SURFASOLOGY™ banner we look to enjoy the present, with an eye to the future, and hopefully another forty years!
Yours thankfully,
Eddie Grace
Head of SURFASOLOGY™
