Description

Because of the high water-table level in this area, the DualProof System was specified to provide waterproofing and protection for the reinforced concrete of the Lift Pits.

The DualProof Membrane, with its unique FTF (FiberTex Fleece), forms a mechanical bond with the fresh concrete and protects the concrete against aggressive ground contaminants whilst preventing lateral water movement between the membrane and the concrete.

The construction joints of the reinforced concrete were detailed using CEMflex VB Plate. The unique coating on the CEMflex VB Plate is activated by the fresh concrete, if water comes in contact with the coating it produces an active paste that crystallises and seals the joints.

The installation project was undertaken by SURFASOLOGY application crew.
