How does Maxcryl work:

The pure acrylic polymers used in Maxcryl react with cement-based mixes, increasing the compressive, flexural and boding strengths of the mix. Using Maxcryl in the mix also increases the wearing and abrasion resistance of the mortar.

Key Features & Benefits

Mortars prepared with Maxcryl are:

  • More manageable
  • Have greater compactness
  • Longer setting and application time
  • Greater strength, compression and tension
  • Provides greater adherence to smooth surfaces

Specification Tip for Design Professionals:

Maxcryl may be specified by name or by using the following description: a propriety water-based, pure acrylic liquid admixture used to increase the physical and chemical properties of cement-based mortars and concrete.
