SURFASOLOGY were appointed as a waterproofing specialist on this high-profile project with a task to waterproof and protect below ground reinforced concrete base slab, retaining walls, lift pits and balconies.
Our flagship waterproof membrane – DualProof T Membrane – was applied under the base slab and our flexible cementitious coating – Maxseal Flex System – was applied to the retaining walls to provide continuity of the waterproofing and protection to the below ground reinforced concrete structure. Both systems are fully compatible and offer both waterproofing and radon protection.
Our highly tested and patented steel plate water-stop – CEMflex VB Plate – was used for detailing all non-movement construction joints.
The balconies on this project were waterproofed with our Maxseal Flex System, a flexible waterproof coating that forms a seamless membrane. A layer of mesh was incorporated into the coating adding to its flexibility feature.
